The 3rd edition of the Inova+ Saúde Award was launched last Friday (04/08), at Campus Cabula, with the opening of the academic semester of the stricto sensu graduate courses of Bahiana. This year, the award has a partnership with the Maria Emília Foundation, a non-profit entity whose mission is to promote, generate and disseminate knowledge and education and health technologies with a social impact. The main objective of the award is to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the State of Bahia, encouraging the development of new talent and recognition of businesses with innovative potential in the health area: www.bahiana.edu.br/premio-inova-saude
In addition to professors and students from graduate programs at Bahiana, the event was attended by the dean of Research, Innovation and Stricto Sensu Graduate Studies, Dr. Atson Fernandes, the representative of the Secretary of Technology and Innovation of the State of Bahia Agnaldo Freitas, prof. Fernando Carvalho, representing UNEB, and the executive director of the Maria Emília Foundation, Thamile Accioly.
"This is yet another working tool that we offer our students and professors in postgraduate programs that can transform the professional career of any student at our institution", pointed out Dr. Atson Fernandes.
