Bahiana is considered the Best Company to Work for in Bahia for the 5th consecutive time

Tradition combined with innovation. This remarkable feature contributed to the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública won, for the 5th consecutive time, the title of Best Company to Work for in Bahia, by the Great Place To Work Institute. The award, announced last Monday (17/07), is given to institutions that are evaluated and recognized by the employees themselves as good or excellent work environments.

In addition to being in first place on the GPTW podium in Bahia, the Bahiana has been reaching prominent positions among large companies in Brazil, reaching 19th place in the National Ranking of Best Company to Work for, in 2022. The People Development coordinator at Bahiana, Prof. Luiza Ribeiro, also points out that 60% of the job vacancies opened by the institution are occupied by the employees themselves, through internal selection. “He knows he can evolve professionally, which gives him more confidence in the institution. And this is pointed out by them within the GPTW survey ”, she highlights.

According to Prof. Luiza Ribeiro, this achievement is due to constant listening to the needs highlighted by the employees themselves: “As we exercise listening and feedback, we can improve our policies in order to meet the real demands placed by the employees themselves. And these actions and benefit programs meet their real needs, as we see them as citizens. These are needs that arise when exercising their roles as fathers, mothers, students, for example. At Bahiana, we see the employee in an integral way”.
