Bahiana receives the Seal of Socially Responsible Institution 2022/2023

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública was recognized, once again, by the Brazilian Association of Higher Education Supporters (ABMES), with the Seal of Socially Responsible Institution 2022/2023. This is the 12th time that the school has been recognized for the continuity of the extension actions of social responsibility developed during the year 2022, integrated with teaching and research activities, in particular, the programming of the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition.

The Seal is a certification awarded by ABMES to higher education institutions in the private network, which participate in the Private Higher Education Social Responsibility Campaign, and is only awarded to higher education institutions that have proven to have applied social engagement actions.

Among the extension programs developed by Bahiana, "First Aid for All", "Delivery Day", "Cashew Forum", "Candeal Project", "Physical Education Course Extension Programs", "May of the PIC's", "XX Health Fair do Terreiro Casa Branca” and “Spring Fair + Health: The Bahiana supports care for sickle cell disease”.
