Note of regret: Dr. Caique Mota de Araújo

It is with deep regret that we communicate the death of Caique Mota de Araújo, newly graduated doctor by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. Caique was a student in the 77th class of the course, which bears his name and of which he had been the speaker. He had just graduated a week ago, on 11/07. 

Owner of contagious energy and much loved by all, the values ​​he carried with him were remarkable, which made him a student and an exemplary person. He was committed, participative, considerate, humble, welcoming and many other qualities common to great doctors and health professionals. 

Caique was the victim of an incurable cancer, which we followed from the beginning and, therefore, we were able to witness up close all his struggle and determination. Unfortunately, he left us too soon, but it comforts us to know that he was able to fulfill his dream. 

To everyone he touched, in his brief passage, Caique will be greatly missed. His memory, however, will remain alive in our memories. To family and friends, our solidarity and our most sincere feelings.
