MULTIPROFESSIONAL RESIDENCE IN FAMILY HEALTH - REGISTRATION UNTIL FEBRUARY 08

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, the State Health Department (SESAB) and the Hólon Society are offering the inter-institutional course on Multiprofessional Residence in Family Health, whose pedagogical praxis is developed primarily in the Sanitary District of Pau da Lima, with the Vida Plena Community Complex as a matrix. The selection is part of the Unified Selection Process for admission to the Multiprofessional Residency Program and the Professional Area of ​​Health, carried out by Consultec. Enrollments have been extended and can be made up to the day February 08, off-site, through the Consultec website (www.consultc.com.br).

THE RESIDENCE

O Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family Health it lasts 24 (twenty four) months, with a weekly workload of 60 (sixty) hours and is developed by the academic coordination of Sociedade Hólon and by the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

Intended for students graduated in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Psychology, Social Work and Nutrition, the course aims to contribute to the acquisition of cognitive, psychomotor and evaluative skills essential to the planning, development and evaluation of multidimensional health practices (action in the collective, in the family and in the individual) aimed at a previously delimited territory/population.

The principles that guide the teaching-learning process in the residency are: 1) The student is the subject of learning; 2) The most important task of the teacher is to collaborate in the construction of a pedagogical space that is conducive to active student learning; 3) The human being must be perceived in its multidimensionality; 4) Learning methodologies must be active; 5) The assessment includes cognitive, psychomotor and evaluative dimensions.

VACATIONS AND METHODOLOGY
04 vacancies will be offered for Nursing; 04 vacancies for Nutrition; 02 vacancies for Dentistry; 04 places for Psychology; 02 vacancies for Social Service; 04 places for Physiotherapy.

The applied methodology prioritizes theory-practice integration, encompassing a range of pedagogical actions that can facilitate the achievement of the outlined educational objectives. 

The praxis will be developed in partnership with academics from other categories, when necessary in the construction of the professional profile, being considered as priority activities: outpatient care, home visits, educational activities (waiting room, groups, activities in schools, health fair... .), reception, systemic study of families, specific attention to pathological situations diagnosed in the family setting, home care, pedagogical meetings in an interdisciplinary view, care in day care centers, family planning, immunization, gynecological preventive, training, management, performance in municipal management and state.

In the second year, residents may undertake an optional internship lasting up to 2 (two) months in reputable institutions in the national or international scene, after approval by the Program Board.
