Courses of Bahiana are featured in Folha's University Ranking

The school Bahiana Medicine and Public Health is, once again, a national highlight among courses in the health area, according to the Folha University Ranking, an assessment promoted by the Folha de São Paulo newspaper, published this month. The Ranking evaluated the 40 undergraduate courses with the most entry, offered by universities, university centers and colleges. 

As evaluation criteria for the courses, the Ranking considers the position in the labor market, the quality of teaching, the number of masters and doctors, the work regime, the ENADE grade and the peer evaluation.  

Analysis by course
All courses from Bahiana got excellent placements:

MEDICINE: ranked 26th among all public and private medical courses in the Brazil (250 courses evaluated), and, among the private ones, it was in 4th place. At Bahia, was in 2nd place among the 26 public and private institutions evaluated and in 1st place among the private ones. 

DENTISTRY: ranked 47th among all public and private courses in the Brazil (300 courses evaluated) and 15th place among private courses. At Bahia, was in 3rd place among all public and private courses and 1st place among the 25 private courses evaluated.

PSYCHOLOGY: ranked 57th among all public and private courses in the Brazil (600 courses evaluated) and 19th place among private courses. At Bahia, was in 3rd place among the 45 public and private courses evaluated, and in 1st place among the private ones (40 courses).

BIOMEDICINE: ranked 30th in the Brazil, among all private and public courses (350 courses evaluated) and in 12th place among private ones. At Bahia, was in 3rd place (out of 34 public and private institutions evaluated) and 2nd place in the universe of private institutions.

PHYSIOTHERAPY: ranked 37th among all public and private courses in the Brazil (600 courses evaluated) and in 9th place among private courses. Among the 48 public and private courses of the Bahia, won 4th place and 2nd place among private institutions.

NURSING: ranked 76th in the Brazil, among all private and public courses (800 evaluated courses), and in 28th place among private ones. At Bahia, came in 7th place (62 public and private institutions evaluated) and 2nd place among the 56 private institutions evaluated.

PE: ranked 119th among all public and private courses in the Brazil (700 courses evaluated) and in 61st place among private courses. At Bahia, was in 8th place among public and private courses and in 3rd place among private courses, in a universe of 36 courses. The performance of this course deserves special mention, as it is a new course without ENADE grade.
