IX Researchers Forum grants two awards

RESEARCH GROUP OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Research Group of the Year Award is given annually to the research groups of the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (BAHIANA) that have significantly contributed to the formation of a scientific culture, fostering and disseminating their activities related to the areas of Science, Technology and Innovation.

The award is given to two research groups, considering the following aspects:
a) qualification and training of human resources for research;
b) quality and relevance of scientific and technological productions;
c) contribution to the dissemination and popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation.

The groups will be awarded in two distinct categories:
I - New or consolidating research groups (groups formed less than 03 years ago, led by a non-doctoral professor or without human resources training at the Masters and Doctoral levels);
II - Consolidated research groups (groups formed more than 03 years ago, led by a doctor, or with human resources training at the Masters and Doctoral levels).

PROFESSOR HUMBERTO CASTRO LIMA AWARD - RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR
The Professor Humberto Castro Lima Award is awarded annually to researchers who are professors at the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (BAHIANA) that have significantly contributed to the formation of a scientific culture, fostering and disseminating their activities related to the areas of Science, Technology and Innovation.

The award is individual and indivisible and is awarded to research professors, considering the following aspects:
a) qualification, experience and professional trajectory;
b) quality and relevance of scientific and technological production;
c) contribution to the dissemination and popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation.
