NEAD holds another lecture on information technology and health

Clinical documentation in the digital age and health for all will be the theme of the next meeting.

The president of the Information and Analysis Center – CIAware, Dr. Flávio Barbosa, will be the next guest of the cycle of online lectures on information technology and health, an initiative of the Distance Learning Nucleus of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (NEAD). The lecture "Clinical documentation in the digital age and health for all" will be broadcast on the day 9 July, at 20 pm, and interested parties can apply through the link: https://forms.gle/grDPAS1GRB7TQAYg7.

In addition to demonstrating how Information and Communication Technologies can help bring patients, health professionals and caregivers closer together, Dr. Flávio Barbosa will also address topics such as the characteristics of health information (informational multiplicity, versioning and multidisciplinary interaction and the patient ); software engineering and the main challenges in modeling clinical information; person-centered care and semantic interoperability, in addition to security and privacy (Digital Signature and General Law for the Protection of Personal Data).

About the speaker
In addition to being president of the Center for Informatization and Analysis – CIAware, Flávio Barbosa holds a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences, from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, member of the Brazilian Society of Health Informatics (SBIS), computer scientist, software architect and health informatics researcher/consultant in the areas of assistance, research and teaching. He is also founder and coordinator of the People Health project – the universal health platform.
