In celebration of the 13 years of publication of the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health (PNPIC), the students of the Supervised Curricular Internship of the 9th semester of the Nursing course, supervised by Prof. Ana Maria Cruz Santos, together with the Center of Integrative and Complementary Practices of the Bahiana (CEPICS), carried out several actions in favor of the health of the servers of the Family Health Unit Prof. Dr. Carlos Santana, located in Doron, Cabula-Beiru Sanitary District. The action took place on May 7th and 16th and was planned based on the identification of a list of problems, through Local Health Planning and Programming (PPLS) – an activity that students develop every six months in the Supervised Curriculum Internship. "This identification occurred through interviews with a semi-structured questionnaire, applied to the service's professionals. After this stage, the priority of resolvability, feasibility and feasibility of intervention that would remedy or minimize the problems were evaluated", explains professor Ana Maria Cruz Santos.

Initially, the professionals participated in a conversation circle about the PICS, to better understand the PNPIC and the practices involved, and, later, they were given two days of care: one with Bioenergetic Analysis, conducted by the coordinator of the Nursing course, Simone Steps, and the other day with the practice of Yoga, led by Prof. Rosana Politano. The two days of activities involved around 30 people.

According to Prof. Ana Maria, the choice of PICS as an activity to promote well-being was given "because they are practices that are scientifically resolvable and are available in SUS public policies for primary care to professionals and the community, and we realize that many people do not know".
