A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública received 44 students from the Nossa Senhora da Conceição College, during the morning of the day May 11, Saturday, at Campus Cabula, for the second edition of the Young Aid program. The activity allows high school students to have theoretical and practical first aid classes related to four basic circuits: Airway and Foreign Bodies, Rib Cage, Heart and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – CPR, Skeletal System and Mobilizations and Integumentary System and Burns.
The action, which is promoted by the Institutional Relationship Center – RELACI, was responsible for the monitoring groups by the seventh semester student of the Medicine course, Rafael Lélis. The monitors of the Morphofunctional Sciences and First Aid groups made presentations about the functioning of the human body to the students who were divided into four teams. Each circuit was explained for 40 minutes.
