Bahiana promotes another solidarity action on Delivery Day
250 kg of powdered whole milk were donated to charities

On April 10, 2019, the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by donating 250kg of whole milk powder to the HTLVida Institution, to the HTLV Center of the Bahiana and the Conceição Macedo Beneficent Institution (IBCM).
The action was part of Delivery Day and was carried out by professor Lígia Vilas Boas, from the Institutional Program for Teacher Development at Bahiana (PROIDD). Delivery Day is a social activity promoted by Bahiana bimonthly.
The donated milk was the result of money raised with the enrollment of students in the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana, held last year. The students each paid the amount of R$ 15,00 upon registration for the event, and this amount was used to purchase packages of powdered whole milk.
