Bahiana promotes second debate of the cycle of free lectures on Health Informatics

The cycle of lectures on Health Informatics continues. In day April 9 at 20 pm, the second online meeting takes place, with the theme "Standards of terminology in health information: SNOMED CT and LOINC", which will be taught by Dr. Marivan Santiago Abrahão (São Camilo Hospital – Ipiranga / Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein), general practitioner and nephrologist, specialist in Computer Science by UFRJ, consultant in Management of Information Systems and Health Informatics and full member of the Brazilian Society of Health Informatics.

The event, organized by the Distance Education Center (NEAD), is free and open to the public. Entries can be made through the website (click here). 15 places will be made available (to be filled in order of enrollment) at the Educational Technology Development Center (CEDETE).

Some of the discussion areas of the debate will be: the representation of patterns for the clinical dataset as a foundation for the construction of health information systems, whose fundamental characteristics are ease of use, specificity, adaptability, flexibility, conciseness, availability, universality and how the use of technologies provides the understanding of analysis and storage of health data.
