Bahiana promotes the III Congress Labyrinth of Autism: taking care of parents and children.

Discuss the main themes related to interventions in the context of caring for parents and children in the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is the purpose of the third edition of the Congress Labyrinth of Autism: taking care of parents and children, carried out by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The event takes place on days 2 and 3 for August, from 8 am, at Campus Cabula. 200 vacancies will be made available, and registration can be made through the website registrations.bahiana.edu.br (coming soon).

Autism spectrum disorder is a chronic health condition in which people with this condition have alterations in three main axes: delays in verbal and non-verbal communication; Social interaction and repetitive behaviors. O LABYRINTH Congress will develop a discussion network about improving care for people with ASD and the role of parents in this process of monitoring the individual.

The event's program will feature lectures that address the cognitive, emotional and behavioral manifestations of people with such a clinical condition and how the diagnosis and clinical interventions need to be performed.
