II National Meeting of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health is promoted by Bahiana

Stimulate the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the scientific and academic environment and promote interaction between the main actors in the technological development ecosystem in the health area. These are the objectives of the second edition of National Meeting of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health (ENEIS), which will be carried out by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, in the days August 22, 23 and 24, 2019, at the Cabula Campus. The II ENEIS, an event promoted by BAHIANA in partnership with SENAI CIMATEC, IFBA and UNEB and sponsored by Banco Santander and the State Family Health Foundation (FESF-SUS), it is open to the public and will feature presentations of scientific and technological works. Registration to participate in the meeting will open soon and can be made through the website www.eneis.net.

The event will feature the participation of researchers from renowned educational and research institutions, at the state and national levels, and entrepreneurs who will present successful cases in the area of ​​health will also be present. As in its first edition, the II ENEIS will have the Technology Fair, a space for institutions and technology-based companies in the health area to exhibit their portfolio of products and services related to innovative solutions and their entrepreneurial actions.

This year, the II ENEIS brings as a novelty the presentation of Startups during the Technology Fair. During the meeting, the second edition of the Inova+Saúde Award will also be launched, as a result of the partnership BAHIANA-IFBA-SENAI-UNEB, an initiative that aims to disseminate the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in Bahia.

Regarding the scientific contribution, articles submitted to the following lines will be accepted: Entrepreneurship in Health with Social Impact; Technologies applied to Health; Innovation in Health Education; and Technological Prospecting in Health. The works approved for presentation at the II ENEIS (in poster form) will be published in the Annals of the event. The authors of the best papers will be invited to write a chapter for the second volume of the book "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Health: science & market".
