Introduction to Telemedicine, Telehealth and Mobile Health Applications | EAD Bahiana

In an unprecedented initiative, the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública promotes the extension course on Introduction to Telemedicine, Telehealth and Mobile Applications in Health, in the form of Distance Learning.
The aim of the program is to present an overview of telemedicine and telehealth technologies and applications, their current status, advantages and benefits. With a workload of 64 hours, the course includes an overview of ongoing projects in Brazil, mobile technologies and applications in health (PDAs, tablets, smartphones), in addition to promoting a discussion about opportunities and the professional labor market for these areas in Brazil.

Students of Medicine and Nursing courses at Bahiana can take this course for free.
- Course period: from 21/01 to 18/03/2019 (8 weeks).
- Registration period: de 15/01 a 21/01/2019.
- Workload: 64 hours.
- Location: Virtual Campus (Moodle learning platform)
- Payment methods: free for students and professors of Medicine and Nursing. For other interested audiences, the investment is R$480,00 per entry.
