Projects of Bahiana are awarded by the Brazilian Association of Human Resources

The UniDiversity Program got the maximum score in the award.

The development and inclusion actions of the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública don't stop getting recognition. This time, the institution won the Ser Humano Award, from the Brazilian Association of Human Resources – BA (ABRH-BA). THE Bahiana was awarded for the initiatives "Apprentice Program Bahiana: Undertaking Life and Career Projects” e “UniDiversity Program: We are all one!”. The latter obtained the highest evaluation score, being the best placed in the awards, something unprecedented in these 10 years, and, because of that, will compete in the national selective promoted by ABRH Brasil.

         
The manager of the Strategic Management of People and Learning (GEPAP), Telma Bastos, highlighted the enormous satisfaction of employees at Bahiana in carrying out such beneficial projects: "UniDiversidade's case refers to the work with People with Disabilities (PCDs), conceived since 2006, in which one of the interns, Luana Dantas, helped me in the implementation. Today, who is in charge of the project is Luciana Fontes. In the work with apprentices, also awarded yesterday, the forerunners were Aline Leite and Fernanda Drummond and is currently led by Priscila Galvão. And both projects have the important support of Allana Machado. This construction was made possible thanks to the alignment and engagement of the entire team, which did everything with love and passion,” he says.

Telma Bastos also expressed gratitude for the award: “We thank each one and the Bahiana for being a welcoming institution that inspires us to make a difference and transform realities. Thanks also to ABRH-BA for encouraging, through this beautiful award, other companies to share good practices”.

O Human Being Award it aims at valuing the best initiatives dedicated to the development of people, inside and outside organizations, as well as stimulating creative thinking and identifying new talents.
