10th Internship and Work Preparation Seminar (SEPET)

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held the 10th Seminar on Preparation for Internship and Work (SEPET) on October 17, at Campus Brotas. The event focused on the opportunity to learn about the professional performance of each field of Psychology and featured lectures on psychic health and extended psychological clinic.

According to the coordinator of SEPET, professor Ana Aparecida Nascimento, the meeting seeks to provide students with a broad perspective of action in the health area. "The proposal of the Seminar on Preparation for Internship and Work is to open a dialogue with Psychology students about the possible and rich practices in our area, especially with students in the 8th semester who will go to the mandatory internship, in the last year of the course ; and those in the 10th semester, which go to the world of work”, he says.

The schedule of the 10th SEPET was very diversified: Professor Eliana Edington gave a lecture on "Psychology in the History of the world of work and its transformations", while the lecture "Art as a promoter of psychic health" was addressed by psychologist Suzane Bandeira . Professors Vânia Powel and Myla Arouca talked about “Extended Psychological Clinic and other tasks”, and psychologist Maria Constança Velloso discussed how to work as a team.

Psychology professors Sylvia Barreto and Ana Aparecida Nascimento closed the event.
