Students from the Salesian College in Salvador participate in the Bahiana for one day

The program offered high school students professional guidance and contact with the academic environment at Bahiana.

The edition of the Program Bahiana for one day of October 24, it was attended by students from the Salesian College in Salvador. Visitors, who followed a schedule divided by area of ​​knowledge, had professional guidance and contact with the academic environment of the Bahiana of the Cabula Campus.

The visit itinerary covered activities related to courses in Medicine, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Physical Education, Nursing, Biomedicine and Psychology, lasting 20 minutes for each course. The action began at 14:10 pm and ended at 17 pm.

To present the Medicine course, the monitors from the Morphofunctional science group exposed the Morphofunctional Laboratory according to the evolution of the curricular components. The initiative was guided by professor Suzana Araújo.

     
The activity “Experience in Respiratory Physiotherapy” took place in Room S01, PAV III, with the objective of highlighting the practices of the Physiotherapy course. The person responsible for this stage was Professor Maria Consuelo. In Dentistry, the administrative manager of the Dental Center, Lísia Oliveira, explained the functioning of the Dental Center at Bahiana.

In the Laboratory for the Study of Movement / Skills in Physical Education, the routine of the Laboratory in Sport Science was elucidated by Professor João Franco. The students also had the opportunity to understand the procedures that involve cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in the Nursing Laboratory, with Professor Ronesca Santana Dias.

The activities related to Biomedicine were applied in the Microscopy Laboratory, by Professor Adalardo Carneiro. In turn, the professor and coordinator of the Psychology course mediated the Myths and Truth about Psychology activity, in room S08, PAV III.
