Bahiana for a day | Brazilian Baptist College

the month of september, in Bahiana, it started with animation. On the 05th, students from Colégio Batista Brasileiro visited Campus Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, through the program Bahiana for one day. The program consisted of introducing students to the structure of courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Physical Education, Biomedicine and Nursing.

the walk through Bahiana it lasted all afternoon. The students were divided into groups and made visits, lasting 20 minutes each, to the infrastructure of each undergraduate course: in Medicine, there was a presentation of the Morphofunctional Laboratory, with professor Suzana Araújo; Professor Maria Consuelo, from Physiotherapy, promoted an activity to demonstrate the area; and the Administrative Manager Lísia Oliveira showed the students how the Dental Center of the Bahiana.

During the visitation, students from Colégio Batista Brasileiro were also introduced to the area of ​​Biomedicine, where they got to know the Microscopy Laboratory. Physical Education teacher João Franco showed the Laboratory for the Study of Movement and Skills.

The professor and coordinator of the Psychology course, Sylvia Barreto, mediated a conversation about “Myths and Truth about Psychology”. And Professor Ronesca Santana Dias, from the Nursing course, performed CPR activities at the institution's Skills Laboratory.
