Bahiana promotes the II Seminar in the Material and Sterilization Center
Event featured speakers from São Paulo institutions.

To understand the innovations in work processes in the health area, as well as their validity in the academic environment and in the labor market - this was the purpose of the second edition of the Seminar in the Material and Sterilization Center, promoted by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. The meeting took place on August 24th and 25th, at the Auditorium I of Campus Cabula. The speakers at the event were Kazuko Graziano, a researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP) and Larissa Cavassin, Coordinator of the Material and Sterilization Center (CME) at Hospital Sírio-Libanês.
Kazuko Graziano spoke about the processing of health products, centered on microbiological aspects and guidelines for good practices, presenting the academic perspective on the subject, and nurse Larissa Cavassin discussed, from the professional conception, how the sharing of practical actions works. in the cleaning and preparation areas, through the complexity and peculiarities of the CME.
The event was planned by the Specialization Course in Nursing in the Surgical Center (CC), Anesthetic Recovery (AR) and by the Material and Sterilization Center, with content aimed at nursing students and professionals.
