Bahiana hosts the VIII Seminar on ethics in research with human beings in the state of Bahia

Promoting the updating of topics related to research ethics and providing a discussion about awareness in the knowledge production process – these are the main objectives of the VIII Seminar on ethics in research with human beings in the state of Bahia. The event is conceived by the Superintendence of Pharmaceutical Assistance, Science and Technology in Health (SAFTEC), in partnership with Research Ethics Committees (CEP) and takes place on September 13th and 14th, in the auditorium of the Cabula da Campus Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. Registration is free and can be made through the website www.saude.ba.gov.br/evento/seminariodeetica2018.

The event's program will include round tables “Philosophical conception of ethics and bioethics”, “Case report”, “CNS Resolution nº 510/2016” and “Biobanks and Biorepositories”; mini-courses on “Informed Consent Term and Assent Term”, “Plataforma Brasil” and “Risks and benefits of research for the participant”, in addition to the lectures “Plataforma Bahia” and “Plagia in scientific production”.

The meeting is aimed at members of the CEP of Bahia, representatives of the Local Research Commissions of the Health Department of the State of Bahia (SESAB), managers, professionals, researchers and health students.
