Every academic and researcher dreams of having their work recognized. When this recognition comes through an award, the sense of professional achievement is much greater. It was like that for the professor of the Psychology course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar and student Natália Nogueira Xavier Pereira. The researchers were awarded, along with professors from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Methodist University of São Paulo and Faculdade Adventista da Bahia, at the Symposium “Interfaces between work and family: repercussions for individuals and organizations”. The event took place at the VIII Brazilian Congress of Organizational and Work Psychology (CBPOT), from 11 to 14 July 2018, in Goiânia.

“Participating in the VIII CBPOT was an opportunity to strengthen contact with professionals from other states, in addition to having access to emerging research themes in Organizational and Work Psychology. Winning the award was, for me, a recognition of the quality of the research being developed within the 'Work' emphasis of the Psychology course at Bahiana. For the student, it will certainly serve as an important stimulus for her to continue investing in her research training”, says Carolina Villa Nova Aguiar.

The CBPOT is a biennial meeting, a reference in the area and that unites the participation of national and international professionals and researchers, in addition to being related to the Brazilian Association of Organizational and Work Psychology (SBPOT).
