Master's Student of Bahiana receives Honorable Mention award for scientific work

Recognition of academic work is an important moment in the life of a graduate student. The student of the Master's in Medicine and Human Health, from Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, Julie Azevedo Araújo Valente, received this reward by winning the Honorable Mention Award for her work on the “Influence of intramuscular lidocaine injection on the plasticity of the primary motor cortex in healthy individuals”. The master's work was presented on July 07th, during the VIII Interdisciplinary Congress on Pain at the University of São Paulo (CINDOR) and was guided by professor and physiotherapist Abrahão Fontes Baptista.

CINDOR is considered the biggest pain event in Brazil and Latin America and was conceived approximately 17 years ago by a group of professors and researchers from the University of São Paulo (USP). This year's edition took place between the 4th and 7th of July, at the Rebouças Convention Center – São Paulo/SP.
