Gregor Mendel's students participate in the Bahiana for one day
Students learned about the infrastructure of the courses at the Bahiana and had professional guidance.

Students from Colégio Gregor Mendel visited Campus Cabula da Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública on May 9, in another edition of the program Bahiana for one day. The schedule, as usual, was divided by knowledge area, in order to provide students with professional guidance and contact with the academic environment of the Bahiana, in addition to presenting the institution's infrastructure.
The script of activities included the presentation of the Morphofunctional Laboratory by the monitors of the Medicine course, coordinated by Professor Suzana Araújo. The experimentation in Electrotherapy, a neurological physiotherapy activity, was coordinated by Professor Bruno Góes, and the presentation by the Dental Center at Bahiana had guidance from the Nursing Supervisor Miriam Assis.
The high school students also got to know the Movement Study Laboratory/Skills Laboratory and learned the routine of the Sports Science Laboratory, under the coordination of Professor Clárcson Plácido. In the Nursing Laboratory, it was possible to learn and participate in practices involving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), with Professor Ronesca Santana Dias.
To present the Psychology course to visitors, Professor Carolina Aguiar mediated the Myths and Truth about Psychology activity. As for the field of Biomedicine, the young people carried out activities in the Microscopy Laboratory, with Professor Adalardo Carneiro, in order to experience practices in the area in question.
The program Bahiana for one day it happens weekly, and the last edition took place with students from Colégio Estadual Plataforma, on April 24th.
