07/05 - V Medical Internship Seminar of Bahiana

On May 07th and 08th, students from the 4th, 5th and 6th years of the Medicine course participated in theV Medical Internship Seminar of Bahiana which took place at the Nazaré Academic Unit. The initiative arose in order to better prepare the student for the internship, as well as for the Medical Residency.

 The V Medical Internship Seminar at Bahiana had an extensive program starting with the round table I slept internally and woke up doctor! And now?  - The completion of the undergraduate medical course; The importance of good use of the boarding school; Perspectives of the newly graduated physician.

Among the activities, there was also the presentation of panels always focused on this transitional stage of medical education. Thus, on the first day, the panels were presented: 1) The practical test in the selection of Medical Residency, 2) Extracurricular internship and the illegal practice of medicine, What is the CRMBA vision? What changes with the new internship law? e3) The boarding school integrated into the public network which had the participation of representatives of the State School of Public Health; Boarding School at EMB - UFBA – and Boarding School at EBMSP.

On Saturday, the lecture was held Living responsibly in the hospital environment and the panels Elective Internships at Internship - Experience Report and What is the Intern's Role? What does the teacher expect from the intern? What does the intern expect from the boarding school?
