On May 3, the Psychology course at Bahiana holds the round table "Academic training and the labor market: two sides of the same coin?", at 19 pm, at Campus Brotas. The free event is open to the community and is part of a program that precedes the III Meeting of Organizational and Work Psychology of the Bahiana, which will take place on June 8, at Campus Kabula.

The idea is to promote theoretical presentations followed by questions and discussions on topics considered important for Organizational and Work Psychology, such as science and profession.

At the roundtable on May 3, participants will be asked to discuss some central questions involving this theme, such as "What kind of Human Resources (HR) professional has been desired by the market?" HR professionals have been called upon to face it?", "How can universities/faculties get closer to the reality of the market, preparing their students to adequately respond to real challenges?", "What are the main 'gaps' identified in training and the practice?" and "How can HR professionals better leverage the knowledge built within Psychology universities/faculties?"

To reach as many interested parties as possible, there will be two possibilities for participation: in person or at a distance, through live broadcasting on the social networks of the Brazilian Association of Organizational and Work Psychology (SBPOT).
