Objective:

General

  • The aim of the course is to train higher education professionals in the use of artistic and expressive techniques in the practice of psychotherapy, applying Jung's concepts in the health area, both in individual and group work.
  • The course will have a basic theoretical and experiential structure allowing professionals to express their internal and external universe in a creative and constructive way, expanding their resources in clinical, hospital and educational practice.

Specifics

  • Knowing how to apply Jungian concepts in the analysis of symbols, through the amplification method, using analogies found both in comparative religions, myths, folklore and fairy tales, to understand the psychic contents that emerge in psychotherapeutic processes.
  • Contribute to raising the qualification of professionals through the experiences of the basic theoretical contents of analytical psychology, using expressive techniques in a wide spectrum of artistic languages ​​such as: literature, painting, modeling, theater, cinema, poetry and music.
  • Discuss clinical cases to enrich psychotherapeutic practice.
  • Use the techniques in different contexts (psychotherapeutic, school, hospital and organizational) and different populations (children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families).



Curricular structure
The course is organized with the following characteristics:

Professional qualification
It will be developed in three professional qualification courses, in four modules each, totaling 120 hours, extensive for improvement.
Each course 40 hours
Courses I, II or III 

Improvement
Three professional qualification courses, plus a course on scientific methodology and supervision of the practices carried out, totaling 200 hours.
Courses I, II, III and IV - 150 hours
More 50 hours of Applied and Supervised Psychotherapy Practice
With delivery of course completion work

Audience
Graduates and undergraduates in the last year of courses in health, pedagogy, arts and related areas.
