SECOND THEORETICAL-REFLEXIVE MEETING PROMOTES DISCUSSION ON THE NEW CODE OF MEDICAL ETHICS

It will take place on April 06th (Tuesday), the&nbsp;SECOND THEORETICAL-REFLEXIVE MEETING, at 18 pm, on the Campus of BROTAS, in room 206, with the confirmed presence of the President of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of Bahia, Dr. Jorge Cerqueira who will give a lecture on the new Code of Medical Ethics.&nbsp; This activity is part of the Community Health III discipline. Participation in these meetings is mandatory, it's worth a point in the final average of the discipline and it will be a very interesting opportunity for everyone to get to know the changes that have taken place in the Code of Medical Ethics. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.bahiana.edu.br//upload/COMPARATIVO_CODIGOS_ETICA_MEDICA_CREMEB.pdf">CLICK HERE</a> and check the comparative table between the two codes - the old and the new. PREPARATION: The participants' task will be to study the available file in advance, so that they can hold a qualified debate on Medical Ethics with our distinguished guest.

A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the General Coordinator is located in a central neighborhood of the city. The building houses the institution's Rectory, as well as our Management and Quality Center (NGQ) and our Planning Advisory Board (ASPLAN).&nbsp; In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late Professor Humberto de Castro Lima, former general coordinator of the FBDC. It is an environment surrounded by nature and historical landmarks of our academic community. Here, our students can contact the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP). The General Coordination also includes the Distance Learning Nucleus (NEAD), the Educational Technologies Development Center (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Nucleus (NUCOM), the Evaluation Committee (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
 In this building are also located the Commercial and People Development, Administrative and Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.

General Coordination

With three pavilions and a modern structure, this campus is located in a central neighborhood of the Bahian capital. Are 9 laboratories, 23 rooms of class e 2 auditoriums to provide the ideal environment for academic and social development. Also on Campus Brotas, students, teachers, employees and the external public have access to a complete library with comfortable facilities and an up-to-date collection. Surrounded by a vast green area, this campus has 20 laboratories, 37 classrooms e 3 auditoriums. The library is also open to the outside community, with comfortable spaces for reading, studying and socializing. The environment has a modern and complete infrastructure, ample parking and social center with cafeteria. The Cabula Campus is also home to the Dental Center of Bahiana, where the Teaching-Care Outpatient Clinic is located, a field of practice for the quality training of dentistry students, from the 4th semester of the course, under the supervision of professors and has ability to serve up to 120 patients simultaneously.
