Bahiana receives Socially Responsible Institution Seal

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública was, once again, recognized with the Seal of Socially Responsible Institution 2017/2018. For the seventh time, the institution receives certification for the success of its outreach and social responsibility activities carried out in 2017.

The seal also highlights the integration of teaching and research activities, in particular the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition of Bahiana. It is a certification granted by the Brazilian Association of Higher Education Supporters (ABMES) to higher education institutions from the private network that participate in the Campaign for Social Responsibility in Private Higher Education.

The Social Responsibility Day of Private Higher Education aims to inform society and the government of the great importance of higher education in the private network and demonstrate, with facts and figures, that private education institutions have been fulfilling their social responsibility and commitment.
