SOCIAL CITIZENSHIP NETWORK

Boosting debate and discussion about the main social problems and their solutions is the objective of the SOCIAL CITIZENSHIP NETWORK (RSC), a movement promoted by the Department of Psychology, Mind, Evaluation and Mental Health at Bahiana and which takes place, this Thursday (18), at 19:206, in Pavilion III, room XNUMX, of the Academic Unit Brotas, a meeting with the Prof. Dante Galefi. The lecture has the theme “Ethical emergence and transdisciplinary understanding in solidary construction” and is open to the public. 

The network is a public initiative and in this sense it is a movement without party or religious purposes. It is organized by professors, researchers and members of civil and public society with the aim of helping to make Brazil a more ethical country and a more citizen society. In this sense, the CSR proposes to stimulate the construction of a mobilization network with the purpose of promoting actions of popular movements and human rights for the construction of Brazilian citizenship.

Since last year, several meetings have been held with professionals from the most varied areas of knowledge. At each meeting, an activity is carried out such as lectures and film screenings, which are followed by debate and work organization.

 
Prof. Dante Galefi

Graduated in Architecture from the Federal University of Bahia (1979), he has a specialization in the Restoration of Monuments at the University of Rome (1980-1982), a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia (1994) and a doctorate in the Postgraduate Program in Education (Masters and Doctorate) from the Federal University of Bahia (1999). He is currently adjunct professor III at the Federal University of Bahia, working in the Department of Education II of the Faculty of Education. He has experience in the area of ​​Philosophy, with an emphasis on Philosophy of Education, working mainly on the following topics: teaching philosophy, philosophy of education, epistemology of education, phenomenology, hermeneutics, language, transdisciplinary education, aesthetics and ethics. He is a permanent professor at the Research and Postgraduate Program in Education (Masters and Doctorate) and at the Multi-institutional and Multidisciplinary Doctorate in Knowledge Diffusion (DMMDC), both at UFBA. He is the current Coordinator of DMMDC (2009-2011). He is leader of the Epistemology Research Group of Educar e Práxis Pedagógica. Currently develops research on epistemology of complexity, transdisciplinarity and epistemology of transdisciplinary education.
