Medical Center of Bahiana opens new reception

On Monday afternoon (15), the new reception of the Medical Center of the Bahiana Health. The dean of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, the coordinator of Communication and Marketing, Margot Soliani, the medical director of the unit, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho, the administrative director, Mariana Soliani, the manager of the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN), Euclides Almeida and the coordinator of People Development, Luiza Ribeiro, as well as managers, coordinators and employees of the Medical Center.

The architectural project is by the architect and urban planner at DEPIN, Carlos Bahia. According to Euclides Almeida, a general reform was carried out, with the replacement of all the furniture, flooring, ceiling and electrical, network and telephone restructuring. "The objective was to provide greater comfort to users of our services, in addition to improving ergonomics for employees", pointed out Almeida.

"This is a milestone for the Bahiana Health. It is health with the face of well-being. This stage of the reform shows that our goal is to improve our care and how we receive and welcome our patients," said Dr. Humberto Castro Lima Filho. Among the innovations, he also pointed out the computerization of all sectors of the Medical Center gives Bahiana Health, with regard to care for patients with health insurance and private networks, in addition to the computerization of gynecology and obstetrics in the care provided by the Unified Health System (SUS). As a result, patient records will be unified and available for all services.

According to Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, promoting comfort is promoting health. "The Medical Center of Bahiana Health is a heritage of Bahia. Offering a pleasant and welcoming place is also promoting physical and mental health for our users."

Margot Soliani, Communication and Marketing coordinator at Bahiana, emphasized the importance of the collective work of the different sectors of the institution for the success of the project.
