INNOVATIVE RESEARCH ARE PRESENTED IN THE XNUMXst PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY OF BAHIANA

On 09/11, students, professors and researchers from Physiotherapy of Bahiana participated in the first night of XNUMXst PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY BAHIANA, which takes place until 11/11 at the Academic Unit Brotas, always from 18:30.
The opening was attended by the director of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luísa Carvalho Soliani, from Prof. Roseny Ferreira, coordinator of the Physiotherapy course, from Prof. Abrahão Baptista and the coordinator of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Extension, Prof. Kátia Sá.
At first, the research professors presented the lines of research developed in the Bahiana, for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
Professor Selena Debois Mendes presented the Dynamics of the Neuromusculoskeletal System Research Group, which was created in 2004 and is coordinated by Prof. Kátia Sá. Created in 2006, the Health Knowledge Promotion and Production Group was presented by its coordinator, Prof. Marlene Silva, who addressed the growth in the number of physical therapists in research groups according to the CNPQ censuses of 2006 and 2008.
In turn, teacher Cristiane Dias spoke about some studies developed by the newly created Respiratory and Cardiovascular Physiotherapy Group. The last line of research was presented by Prof. Dr. Patrícia Lordêlo – Advances in Physiotherapy in Uroloproctology and Gynecology-Obstetrics, who in his presentation spoke about the work of the CEDIMI-Centre for Childhood Voiding Disorders, who coordinates alongside Prof. Dr. Ubirajara Barroso.
The evening included a visit by the participants to the scientific panels and the presentation of some works, including that of the former student of the Bahiana, recently graduated in Physiotherapy, Bruno Teixeira Góes, who gave an interview to BandNews FM, on the morning of 09/11.
