THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY COURSE PROMOTES THE IV DISCUSSION FORUM ON DISABILITY - Healthy lifestyle habits in the community of Cosme de Farias

O Disability Discussion Forum, which happens every semester and is in its 4tha edition, which will be held on October 24, 2009, from 08 am to 12 pm, at the Lélis Piedade Municipal School (end of the line in the Cosme de Farias neighborhood).
This space is promoted by Occupational Therapy Internship in Primary Care, which takes place at the Cardeal da Silva Health Center, in a partnership with BAHIANA with the Municipal Health Department.
O Disability Discussion Forum aims to create a space that enables the participation of people with disabilities in the discussion about their reality and their rights; Besides to promote a greater view of the problem of people with disabilities, enable the creation of collective strategies for the problems faced by these people and their families, as well as discuss possibilities for organizing this population. The IV Forum will discuss the theme "Healthy Living Habits", which presents a wide field for discussion of approaches related to safety in the neighborhood, drug abuse, leisure, among other topics that can be addressed within this theme.
