XVI OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY WEEK / II MEETING OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY GRADUATES FROM BAHIANA

In the development of technical-scientific knowledge, the Occupational Therapy Course at BAHIANA has been providing, for 15 years, a space for debate and exchange of experiences between students, teachers, graduates and professionals, through the Occupational Therapy Week of Bahiana.

 

The importance of this event goes beyond its scientific character, as it promotes the fraternization of academics and professionals in Occupational Therapy, also seeking integration with professionals in related fields.

 

In 2009, through the XVI Occupational Therapy Week and II Meeting of Graduates from Bahiana the organizing committee proposes to (re)tell the career of the profession in an event commemorating the 40 years of its regulation, emphasizing the advances, challenges and perspectives based on the reports of the experiences of some actors responsible for this history.

 

Objective
-Promote fraternization and exchange of knowledge and experiences between students, teachers, graduates and professionals;
-Discuss the technical-scientific advances, challenges and perspectives of Occupational Therapy in the areas of Child and Adolescent Care; Adult Care and Elderly Care.
-Socialize trends in the making and use of Assistive Technology resources in Occupational Therapy.
