THE "HEARTS OF BAHIANA" VISIT SEVERAL SCHOOLS IN SALVADOR

The "Hearts of Bahiana" is an interdisciplinary and intercourse activity in which students, student-monitors, teachers and coordinators of the School's various courses participate, with the aim of creating a communication channel between the institution and high school students. The idea is to spread information about the graduation courses and on the humanistic formation adopted by the institution.The project also offers professional guidance, as it presents, through practical demonstrations, the daily life of health professionals. 

Secondary education institutions can also choose to hold informative lectures on the reality of each undergraduate course at Bahiana.

The project "Hearts of Bahiana" is in full activity and visited, last Saturday (16/05), Colégio Portinari and Colégio Sartre COC – Itaigara; and on 20/05 at Colégio Analysis. At Portinari and at Analysis, both practical and practical activities were carried out. demonstrations, with the participation of students and teachers from the Bahiana, as well as lectures on the various applicability of professions in the health area, and representatives from the courses of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Biomedicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Medicine were present. At Sartre COC, lectures were given on the courses of Medicine, Biomedicine, Psychology, Nursing and Physiotherapy.

Until the beginning of June, the "Hearts of Bahiana" will carry out several interventions in secondary education institutions in Salvador (see table below). The visits of the "Hearts of the Bahiana" are free and can be requested by calling (71) 2101 1909.
