Students from Colégio Estadual Governador Roberto Santos visit Bahiana

The program Bahiana for a Day received high school students from Colégio Estadual Governador Roberto Santos, on October 25, fulfilling yet another edition of the Program Bahiana for One Day. Accompanied by members of the Institutional Relationship Nucleus of Bahiana, professors and academics, the visitors took a tour of the Cabula Academic Unit when they were able to get to know laboratories and a little about the courses offered by the institution.

The visit included the presentation of the Morphofunctional Medicine laboratory carried out by the monitors of the Morphofunctional Sciences Group who showed the activities carried out at the site. In the second moment, the students visited the Dental Center of the Bahiana guided by the administrative supervisor, Lisia Oliveira, and then participated in the activity "Experimentation in Electrotherapy, Presentation of types of performance in Physiotherapy", coordinated by the professor of the Physiotherapy course, Bruno Goes.

A game of "Myths and Truths" was coordinated by the Psychology professor Carolina Aguiar, which gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about how the psychologist works.

The Nursing course carried out first aid activities, coordinated by Professor Luana Bonfim and the visit was continued with a presentation by the Microscopy Laboratory with the professor of the Biomedicine course Sidney Santana.

The visit ended with activities at the Movement Study Laboratory, where the work routine of the Sports Science Laboratory was presented with the coordinator of the Physical Education course, Clarcson Plácido.
