Capes Journal Portal has changed. And to improve the quality of queries for scientific information, new features were developed, making the Portal more modern and easier to use, in addition to incorporating all the features of the previous version.

The new Portal makes new resources available in the search by title or database, such as the search tool integrated in the collection through a search by author, subject or keyword. Another novelty is the personalization of access to scientific and informative content available on the site.

Professors, researchers, students and staff from 194 higher education and research institutions across the country, including the BAHIANA, have immediate access to updated world scientific production through this service offered by CAPES. 

The new Portal periodicals.CAPES offers access to the full texts of selected articles from more than 12.661 international, national and foreign journals; and 126 databases with document summaries in all areas of knowledge. It also includes a selection of important academic information sources with free access on the Internet.

The use of the Portal is free and free for users of participating institutions. Access is carried out from any terminal connected to the Internet located in the institutions or authorized by them.

All postgraduate, research and undergraduate programs in the country gain in quality, productivity and competitiveness with the use of the Portal, which is under constant development.
