FIES REGISTRATION 2009.1

All regularly enrolled students, from the 1st semester onwards, will be able to participate in the FIES. Financing will be for this semester. 

(If there is a change in the dates, it will be the responsibility of Caixa Econômica Federal, so students should pay attention to the information available on the websites http://www3.caixa.gov.br/fies/ e www.bahiana.edu.br)

  • The candidate must fill in the Application Form available electronically at the address http://www3.caixa.gov.br/fies/ from 10:30 am on March 23th to 59:17 minutes on April 2009th, 2, according to Normative Ordinance No. 13, of February 2009th, XNUMX;
  • The final list of registered candidates will be published at the FIES internet addresses on April 20, 2009;
  • The Results Report will be released from 10 am on April 24, 2009 at the Academic Units Nazaré, Brotas and Cabula and at the Fies addresses on the internet.
  • The candidate who is classified must go to the Social Service (Brotas) on the 24th or 25th of April to schedule the interview which will be by appointment. Therefore, the candidate who attends the Social Service on 24/04 will have priority as to the day and time available for the interview;
  • The interviews will start on April 27th in the following order of courses: medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy and psychology;
  • The classified candidate must appear for an interview, 30 minutes before the scheduled time, bearing the registration protocol, printed after completing the registration form via the internet, and the requested documentation. Click here to download the list of documents.

Any discrepancy between the information provided and the documentation presented will result in the candidate's disapproval, so the candidate must carefully read the information below before starting your application:

  • ON THE APPLICATION FORM, THE CANDIDATE MUST INFORM CORRECTLY:
  • If, in addition to the candidate, there is any member of the family group who is taking a degree in a non-free Higher Education Institution.
  • Student Performance Coefficient: 
    • Grade "A" - if the student has a performance coefficient greater than or equal to 9,0 in the last academic period completed in higher education, regardless of academic transfer;
    • Concept "B" - if the student has a performance coefficient greater than or equal to 8,0 and less than 9,0 in the last academic period completed in higher education, regardless of academic transfer;
    • Concept "C" - if the student has had a performance coefficient greater than or equal to 7,0 and less than 8,0 in the last academic period completed in higher education, regardless of academic transfer;
    • Concept "D" - if the student has had an achievement coefficient lower than 7,0 in the last academic term completed in higher education, regardless of academic transfer, or has not completed any academic term in higher education (1st semester or current year) .
  • It is worth remembering that, if the student is classified, the concept informed to put him to the financing must be proven during the interview by presenting the academic transcript of the undergraduate course, so the calculation must be correct.
  • A family group is considered to be the group of people residing in the same house as the head of the family group, except, if applicable, the candidate himself, who:
    • are related to the candidate by the following degrees of kinship:
       dad; b) stepfather; c) mother; d) stepmother; e) spouse; f) partner g) child h) stepson i) brother j) grandfather
    • benefit from the total gross monthly family income, provided that:
      for family group members who have their own income, their individual gross income is declared in the composition of the total monthly gross family income;
      for members of the family group who do not have their own income, the dependency relationship must be proven by means of documents issued or recognized by official bodies or by the source paying the income of any of the members of the family group.
  • Total Gross Monthly Family Income is the sum of all income earned by all members of the family group, which comprises:
    • monthly gross family income, made up of the gross amount of wages, earnings, pensions, alimony, retirement, commissions, pro-labore, other income from self-employed work, income from the informal or self-employed market, income earned from rented assets, and any other , of all members of the family group, including the candidate; Attention: many candidates make a mistake when reporting their net income;
    • if one of the members of the group has more than one income (State, Municipality, etc.), he must inform them.
    • aggregate monthly income, made up of any regular financial assistance from a person who is not part of the family group. It can be proven through receipts of regular deposits made in the student's checking account or another member of the family group, or a notarized statement from the donor.
