BOOK OPENS DISCUSSION ON PUBLIC POLICIES ON MENTAL HEALTH

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública held, this Friday (27), a Literary Café with the launch of the book Public Policies and the work process in mental health which has as author Selma Lancman, PhD in Mental Health from the University of Campinas and Master in Public Health from UFBA. launch happens at 8:30 am, at Academic Unit de Brotas, located at Av. Don João VI, 275. The meeting is open to the public and will feature a lecture by Dr. Lancman on the research that gave rise to the book. 

Public Policies and the health work process it is the result of a research coordinated by Dr. Selma Lancman and promoted, via public notice, by the Ministry of Health in partnership with CNPq. The study aimed to contribute to public health policies and took place between 2006 and 2008, having as research source the west zone of the city of São Paulo.
