FAPESB - SCIENTIFIC INITIATION SCHOLARSHIPS

FAPESP is pleased to communicate the granting of an institutional quota of 40 scholarships for the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. 

During 2008, FAPESP implemented an assessment system for quota institutions, using the following criteria as a basis:

1. Quota compliance - implementation and maintenance of the scholarships implemented throughout the period of validity of the scholarships.

2. Fulfillment of Fapesb's standards when forwarding Partial and Final Technical Reports.

3. IIndex of replacement of scholarship holders by the quota institution

4. Quality of the Annual Scientific Initiation Event (teaching participation, student participation, organization and dissemination efforts, infrastructure).

As a result of this assessment the BAHIANA had an increase in its institutional quota for 2009. We must inform you that the evaluation process will continue in 2009 and will be used again as a parameter to review the quota for 2010.
