Bahiana and CCVP promote the XV Health and Citizenship Mutirão in the Pau da Lima Sanitary District
Action involved students from the 9th semester of the Medicine course.

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública (EBMSP) and the Vida Plena Community Complex (CCVP) promoted, last September 23, the XV Health and Citizenship Mutirão in the Pau da Lima Sanitary District. This edition was coordinated by CCVP managers, Tábata C. Nascimento Nobre and Hilda Lorena Freitas, with the objective of developing socio-educational and informative health actions in defense, expansion and access to citizenship rights, in a space of collective construction, open to the population .
On the occasion, teachers from the Bahiana who work at the CCVP, medical students from the 9th semester, volunteers, professionals from the unit and from partner institutions, such as Hospital Humberto castro Lima/IBOPC and the dermatology service at UFBA.
The population received assistance in dermatology, cardiology, gynecology, ophthalmology, as well as respiratory, nutritional and dental assessment and guidance. Art activities were also developed by the youth protagonism project. During the activity 311 people were assisted.
The initiative is a traditional mobilization held every two months and aims to develop activities to promote health, prevent injuries and build a culture of peace in the community of Pau da Lima.
