RULES AND OTHER INFORMATION
Course Objectives:
To train medical professionals in the specialty, providing mastery of knowledge and techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases.
Viewer discretion: The course is unpaid and there are no grants provided by any entity.
Target Audience: Medicine graduates who have at least 1 year of in-service residency accredited by the MEC in: internal medicine, pediatrics, infectious diseases and geriatrics.
Syllabus (suggested by SBD):
Practical core - 80% - outpatient, procedures, phototherapy and surgery. (S. Izabel Hospital and Medical Clinic of Brotas da BAHIANA)
Supporting theoretical core.
Internships in mycology, surgery and leprosy in other institutions.
Optional: 1 month in the 2nd year and 2 months in the 3rd year of internship in services accredited by SBD.
Vacation: 30 days in the 2nd and 3rd year of the internship.
The program may undergo some changes, adapting to the requirements that may be determined by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology during the course.

09 - Acne and acneiform eruptions
10 - Collagen diseases: lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis
11 - Granulomatous affections
12 - Pyoderma, staphylococcal and streptococcal
14 - Sexually Transmitted Diseases
15 - Leprosy
16 - Superficial mycoses
17 - Deep mycoses: paraccocidioiodomycosis, sporotrichosis, chromomycosis, and mycetomas
18 - Dermatoviruses: herpes, molluscum contagiosum and warts in general
19 - Zooparasitic diseases: scabies, pediculosis, myiasis, tungiasis and leishmaniasis
20 – Malignant tumors: basal cell epithelioma, epidermoid and melanoma
Number of questions: 50.
