Pink October - International Breast Cancer Fight Month

During the month of October, we remember the importance of having exams every two years.

According to updated guidelines from national and international health institutes, mammography should be performed every two years, starting at age 50 years.  

Prevention can be done daily, with the adoption of healthy habits, such as:
- Practice of physical activities.
- Maintenance of adequate body weight.
- Balanced diet, guided by a nutritionist.

Breastfeeding also helps reduce the risk of cancer through its effect on the cells and glandular tissues of the breast.
