On September 13th, the program Bahiana for a Day received high school students from Colégio Anglo for a guided tour of the premises of the Cabula Academic Unit.

The program Bahiana For a Day seeks to support the work of professional guidance in secondary schools, providing students with information about the courses offered by Bahiana and contact with the institution's academic environment.

On that occasion, the students paid a visit to the Morphofunctional Laboratory where the monitors of the Morphofunctional Sciences Group and Prof. Suzana Araujo made a presentation of the laboratory. Accompanied by Lisia Oliveira, technical supervisor of the Dental Center at Bahiana, students can experience the activities of dentistry students in this health unit.

Throughout the day, students were also able to do activities related to electrotherapy and neurological physiotherapy, assisted by the Physiotherapy teacher Sandra Porciúncula who coordinated the activities of the Academic Leagues of Hospital Physiotherapy (LAFIH) and the Study of Pain (LABED).

To learn more about the Psychology course, visitors had a class on myths and truths with the course coordinator, Sylvia Barreto. First aid activities were carried out in the Skills Laboratory with Prof. Ronesca Sech, from the Nursing course.

The visit also allowed students to get to know the Microbiology Laboratory assisted by the Biomedicine teacher Viviane Ferreira and the Movement Study Laboratory, where they had the opportunity to learn about the laboratory's routine with the coordinator of the Physical Education course, Clarcson Plácido.
