CHECK THE PERFORMANCE OF BAHIANA NO JUBA - BAHIA UNIVERSITY GAMES

It was a source of pride for the entire board of Bahiana the performance of our competing students in the Bahia University Games (JUBA).  

The school participated with two students this weekend in the swimming competition. The event took place in the afternoon of 19/05 at the swimming pool of Vila Olímpica da Bahia - in Fonte Nova. 

This event also served as selective for the Brazilian University Games, scheduled for the month of June in the city of Maceió -AL.

Competitors from the following educational institutions were present:

• FABAC
• FTC
• UCSAL
• UFBA 

Our students competed in three tests each, achieving the following results:                 

Ludimila Maria Conceição Santos - Physiotherapy                       

· 100 meters breaststroke: Champion

· 50 meters breaststroke: Third place

· 50 meters backstroke: Champion 

Marcele Brito de Souza - Medicine 

· 100 meters breaststroke: Vice-champion

· 50 meters backstroke: Runner-up

· 50 meters freestyle: Runner-up

The brilliant participation of our students guaranteed the SECOND OVERALL PLACEMENT to Bahiana, giving our students and the school the right to represent the state at the Brazilian University Games.
