GRADUATE DEGREE IN THEORY AND TECHNIQUE OF CHILDREN'S PSYCHOANALYTIC CLINIC

The Theory and Technique of Children's Psychoanalytic Clinic - aims to contribute to the training of health professionals, offering theoretical and practical subsidies for the understanding of children in light of the contribution of different perspectives, namely: developmental psychology, social sciences, and especially psychoanalytic theory. It is also proposed to be a support to psychology and medicine professionals who, starting their clinical activity in a conscious and responsible way, wish to seek theoretical support and supervision to their practice.

POSTGRADUATE BRIEF PSYCHODYNAMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY

The course will take place over a period of 13 months, consisting of 220 hours of theoretical classes and 200 hours of practical activity, distributed as follows: 90 hours of clinical practice in authorized institutions associated with the post, 60 hours of clinical supervision, in weekly meetings of two hours of classes and 50 hours of clinical activity and case studies, which corresponds to 200 hours of practical activity which, added to the theoretical classes, total 420 hours of classes.
Theoretical classes will be distributed in a monthly meeting on Fridays (rarely two) and the practical classes in 4 hours a week, consisting of clinical care, report and supervision. Supervision classes will be held weekly in small groups at times chosen by students upon registration.

The course will be conducted by only five professors (for the effective monitoring of the student as a professional and for the monitoring of clinical cases and the writing of the article), four directing the clinic and one monitoring the methodological rigor of the articles produced in partnership with the guiding professors of the clinic.
