Bahiana launches Manual of Gynecology

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública launched Manual of Gynecology, last June. The work is aimed at students and professionals in the health area and was organized by the professor of the Medicine course at Bahiana, Margarida Matos together with other professors from the institution. The book aims to help health professionals focused on women's health, sharpening clinical reasoning and diagnosis.

The director of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, points out that the Gynecology Manual is a pioneer of its kind in the state of Bahia. “The book is the result of a collective construction, based on daily teaching, on course planning conversations, on theoretical and practical classes at the teaching-assistance clinics and on discussions with students. It will certainly be of great use not only for medical students, but also for professionals in the field. A book, in short, to always have at hand”.
