Bahiana For a Day welcomes students from Colégio São Paulo

A group of visitors experienced academic routine and got to know the courses offered by Bahiana.

On the last 17th of May, the program Bahiana For one day, he received at the Cabula Academic Unit the visit of students from the 3rd year of high school at Colégio São Paulo. The group of visitors had the opportunity to experience the academic routine, participating in activities carried out by coordinators, teachers and students.

The program included the participation of the coordinator of the Physical Education course, Clarcson Plácido, who presented the course and routine of the Movement Study Laboratory, and the coordinator of the Psychology course, Sylvia Barreto, who discussed myths and truths of the area.

     
During the visit, the administrative supervisor of the Dental Center, Lisia Oliveira, showed how the dental clinic works. Monitors from the Morphofunctional Sciences Group presented the morphofunctional laboratory, representing the Medicine course.

On that occasion, care activities for the newborn were also carried out, under the supervision of the professor of the Nursing course, Tatiana Batista. Professor Artur Lima, from the Biomedicine course, carried out practical activities addressing parasitic diseases with observation of helminths, protozoa and vectors. In the field of Physiotherapy, Professor Bruno Góes coordinated experimental activities in electrotherapy, assessment of posture, balance and palpatory anatomy.
