Medical students visit the Medical Center of Bahiana

On June 8, 2nd semester students of the Medicine course participated in a visit to the Medical Center of Bahiana, providing them with the first contact with patients and professionals who work there. The meeting was supervised by teachers of the Women's Health and Child Health curriculum components.

The visit was marked by the presentation of the course coordinator, teachers, leaders of the Medical Center of the Bahiana, photo shoot, discussion of rights and duties. On that occasion, the students' vaccination books were analyzed and guidelines were given for cases that needed updating. Biosafety aspects and work routine were also discussed.
