Bahiana for a day | Anchieta College

The program "Bahiana For a Day” was visited by 3rd year students from Colégio Anchieta, on April 26, at the Cabula Academic Unit. Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública.

The group of visitors was welcomed by students and professors from the institution with a program that included activities carried out by coordinators, professors and students of the courses at the Bahiana, which allowed students to be in contact with academic life, in addition to getting to know the institution's professors and students.

Also participating in the visit were the coordinator of the Physical Education course, Clarcson Plácido, who presented the course and routine of the laboratory in sports science, and the coordinator of the Psychology course, Sylvia Barreto, who discussed myths and truths in this area.

Representing the Medicine course, the monitors from the Morphofunctional Sciences Group presented the morphofunctional laboratory and the administrative supervisor of the Dental Center, Lisia Oliveira, showed the functioning of the space under her responsibility.

On that occasion, there were also experimental activities in electrotherapy, in addition to the assessment of posture, balance and palpatory anatomy, carried out by the professor of the Physiotherapy course, Bruno Góes. The coordinator of the Nursing course, Cristiane Magali made a demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and an activity on parasitology was presented with professor Vanessa Brito.
